Even a slightly overcast day on the beach is a good day.

San Diego = Friend Time

After all the wedding activities were over we got to hang with Serina! Fun lunch and many, many pictures on a bicycle statue later...we were all caught up.

Tyler and Alex Wedding

Tyler and Alex's Wedding Weekend started with dinner at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in San Diego.

We clean up well.

Gus with the groom.

Cousin time!

There is constant debate as to whether or not Vera is taller than Nonni.

Dance Recital - Little Frog and a Bluebird

Dance recitals are a whole new world for this family. Thankful for family that could come cheer these two on. Pearl after the event let me know that she would appreciate a bouquet of flowers next time. Diva.

First performance for Gus, I think he is hooked. Very sweet to see him leaping about onstage. Turns out I should have bought him dance shoes...the Crocs just didn't cut it (I thought he was going to go barefoot).

Pearl: 4-Year-Appointment

Pearl turned 4 a loooong time ago, but I am playing catch-up on this blog and want to keep track of the kiddos' year appointments.

So...

From 11/15/18:
Pearl's 4-Year-Appointment

Weight: 42 lb 6.4 oz (90th percentile)
Height: 3' 8.25" (>99th percentile)

I had to laugh at the description of a 4-year-old that the doctor gave me. "Your child probably likes to sing songs, hop, and dance around. At age 4, children are more independent and prefer to dress themselves." That describes Pearl in a nutshell. She is one tough cookie with her own mind. Loves her cousins, especially Madeline who she can spend hours and hours playing with each week.

She also (in June) has learned to ride a bike without training wheels.

Funniest thing that I remember...she asked if I was going to change the pillow sheets.
