Blueberry Picking - Bella's Organic Farm

You can tell which child was closest to me while picking blueberries. Keller was being particularly willing to take photos.

I've already made blueberry muffins, more coming today, the kids have ate them for snack, and we still have 3ish pounds left.

Opa - Watering!!!

Our school doesn't have maintenance staff for the garden areas during summer. They ask for families to volunteer for one week each to make sure that everything doesn't dry out. Cue me sweating and cursing trying to get this 100+ ft hose combination over to the nozzle and then around to the various areas I need to water.

I was trying to explain it to Opa, but even this picture doesn't do it justice. This is 3 of the 5 hoses that it takes to get to the nozzle.

Silver Falls Cabin Camping

Having a cabin during camping kind of changed my world. So enjoyable to not sleep on the ground. ;) Silver Falls was having their Historic Days which meant log cutting demonstrations, a small wooden canoe boat race (the little boats were thrown down the waterfall), and lots of history. My personal favorite was the storyteller who detailed the account of "Daredevil Al" Faussett who rode his canoe down the South Falls...177 ft and lived to tell the tale. Crazy.

Pool Time

We have been spending a lot of time just chillaxing by the pool...you know, learning how to swim and trying to find shade.

The Rest of SB

Just an fyi, basically for the next 6 months everything on this blog is going to be out of order. Ha, I can't even keep life straight, there is no way I am going to be able to post things in some semblance of order.

Natural History Museum with cousins was dino-rrific!

We also got to visit with our dog cousin, Alfie.

Keller also turned 11 while we were in SB!
