PEP's Rockin' Halloween Event
PEP's Rockin' Halloween Event was a scaled down and mellow affair this year. In other words, it was perfect. Oh, and I wasn't in charge of it = so fun to just go and experience.
Spot the caveman:
Right when we got there, Keller and two dinosaurs started playing chase. It looked planned.
Love my friend!
Can somebody please put that kid's ear back into his costume?
I love my little bee!

Thank You Trader Joe's
Free pumpkin decorating at Trader Joe's, we so loved it. The fact that I didn't have to clean up the glitter glue or paint made for one very happy mama. Glitter is my nemesis when used at home, I find it for weeks and weeks after whatever craft we have created is long gone to the recycling gods.
A quick note about Keller's costume, I made it last year and The Dude would not put it on. Today, he wore it shopping, pumpkin decorating, and pumpkin carving. So, so glad that it got some wear. He was quite popular with the ladies today.
Concentration, I think the costume helped.
While Vera was concentrating, can you see what Keller was doing? Do you see him with his head between the bars back there? There was a moment, where I thought we were going to have to buy some butter to see if we could get his noggin back through. The good luck part, after the rather large noggin, his body slipped easily through.

Keller - 3 Year Appointment
The Dude's appointment just happened, primarily because it was scheduled earlier and I straight up forgot it. Chalk it up to having a new baby in the house, my brain was fried. Basically, this is his 3 and one quarter check-up.
Keller is counting and trying to make patterns (after being taught what a pattern is by his sister). He can ride a two wheel bike and his basic philosophy in life is, "Don't place or put anything down when you can throw it." It becomes a problem when said item hits someone on the head or crashes into a glass object. Recently, my heart melted when he declared that he loved me more than swings. I love the little dude.

August - 2 Month Check-Up
August is smiling and happy. Mama no longer eats anything that includes dairy or is dairy and that seems to have helped his stomach issues...aka...gas. The dairy thing only really hurts when it comes to cheese (think pizza) and ice cream. Hmm, I also miss yogurt and sour cream. Does sour cream count as a cheese? Basically, I miss dairy.
Back to the baby, he can roll from his stomach to his back. It might be considered more of a flop. He loves the sling and his bedtime is 7pm. Yay! As you can tell by the photo, August is an avid thumb sucker.

Yay for Great Friends
A visit from our good friends made our weekend.
It helps that they brought super cool Yoda cookies.
Our day included a trip to Painted Cave.
It also featured a short hike that all of us could do. Keller walked the entire mile round trip and I was able to do it with my broken toe...yep, I broke a toe. It is such a worthless injury.
This picture I love, it reminds me that he will only want to hold my hand in public for a bit longer.
Love them!

Allergy Test - Vera
Remember this cute girl, she had an allergy test last Wednesday, the one where they prick her back all over to find out if she is allergic to anything. J took her to the appointment and it took some convincing to allow the test to happen. The results, she is allergic to dust mites and cats. Well, I guess that rules out one pet in our future. Luckily, she doesn't seem to have breathing problems due to an allergic reaction; instead, it seems like her eczema acts up.
