Create-a-Bear

After our pictures with Santa, I made the mistake of letting Vera go into Create-a-Bear. She proceeded to find a dog and all of its equipment that she just has to have for Christmas (regardless of the fact that I am done with her Christmas shopping). Keller found a hat...I mean skirt. He is the goofball in the family. I don't think the employees were sad to see us walk out the door.

Tis' the Season!

First pictures with Santa - check. However, Keller Dude was not so into the whole thing and poor Santa was having to wrestle him onto his lap breaking a sweat as he had to hold him there. I have to give the man his due, he never stopped smiling and I have 50 pictures of Keller half crying while Santa has the exact same smile on his face. I don't think he even blinked...now that is skill.

Maverick's Tide Pools

Traintown Rocks!

A visit to Opa was the perfect opportunity to visit Traintown in Sonoma. Hmmm...Opa and trains...who would have thought.

Big people in an itty-bitty train!

Peek-a-boo!

Keller was a squirmy man until the train starting moving.

Then, the train stopped, Keller started wiggling, and we were stuck. It turns out that if the rails are wet and you are pulling a large load, stalling may occur. A little sand on the rails fixed the problem and we were moving again.

Halfway stop on the ride was a petting zoo. Petting zoo + train = 2 happy Mazzetta kids.

Vera is almost 4 and riding the carousal by herself! She was so proud of herself and thrilled as she waved to us going by.

Thanksgiving Chaos

We spent Thanksgiving Day dashing from one place to the next, which is typical of our trips to the Bay Area now. Our first stop was at my stepmom's house for some catching up time with family. Vera was loving the time with her cousins.

Vera and Dylan managing a zoo. Can you tell from this picture who was being the bossy bee during the game?

Our next stop was at Jules and Damien's place to finally see it and to take some engagement photos of them. Aren't they cute? There is so much to think about when taking a good picture. But, I have to say that photographing two adults who smile when you ask them to and look at the camera is refreshing.

Vera's new best friend, Ginger-Pie.

Another Jules and Damien picture at their wedding site...I am going to be the matron of honor, sounds so weird to say matron instead of maid.

OMG, could it be, a picture of my family all looking at the camera. Oh wait, is that a road just chilling in the background, yep. No Christmas card here!

Our third and final stop was at Auntie Lolo's house for the main event. Thanksgiving dinner was yummy delicious and the kiddos got some good Nana and Papa quality time.

Take a Long Look

Keller has had his first mama haircut...so, get ready for the pictures tomorrow! :) But, for now enjoy one last look at my little boy's long-ish hair.

Thanksgiving Feast

Today we celebrated Thanksgiving with all of our PEP friends. The weather was perfect, the food delicious, and it was great times all around.

Oh, and this turkey, J smoked it for 14 hours and it was delicious!!

Keller loved the art project, both making it and then eating the paint.

Group shot!!! Do you know how hard it is to get 17 adults and 21 kids to look at the camera and sort of smile? It is impossible, but we came pretty darn close to perfect.

For some reason, I haven't had much to blog about recently. Here are some pics from the last week and half...totally random!

MANIMAL!

Keller is all over the place and into everything these days. He has outgrown our house, something Vera hasn't done at almost 4. His favorite things to do are scale up the back of our chairs and hurl himself onto the table, climb up a dresser in our living room to reach the kitchen counter...then, up and over, and open either the pantry or freezer door to find munchies to spread around the house. He loves art...painting, coloring, and eating crayons.

He is exhausting - good thing he is cute or he might be out on the street!

Here Keller is after his shower. He is searching out the wet spots to slip and fall. This goes hand in hand with his new affinity for falling off anything that he can climb.

Garage Fun!

I know that I shouldn't post pictures of our garage, but it is so representative of our family. A little big chaotic, definitely cluttered, but there is order to the madness. Plus, how cute are Keller and his girlfriend. All I can think to describe them is ying and yang with their all blue and all pink outfits. She is an older woman, but I think he can handle it.

These photos were all taken before Keller managed to pull a bike over on himself and when righting himself from that...unbalance the million bottle caps that I have stored in the garage for an art project. It sounded like rain for a second as they all crashed to the floor.
