It turns out that all of my posts are going to be 2-3 weeks after the event happens. Life has been a bit chaotic in our household. Basketball season finishes up this week with an end of the season tournament. Meanwhile, softball has started for Vera and basketball for Keller. I just got finished planning a Girl Scout event (post coming soon) and J is working many, many hours of overtime.
But the beach day, that happened 2 weeks ago, was wonderful. Sunshine, sand, and lots and lots of digging. I took this adorable photo of Gus and while texting it to J, a rogue wave proceeded to wipe Pearl out. Soaked. It was also a bit scary. I hate when I forget the most important beach going fact, "Never turn your back on the ocean." Thankfully, able to scoop her up, strip of her soggy wear, and then dress her in my tank top.
