I do think it is pretty cool that Vera is old enough (in my opinion) to stay up for a midnight release party. Aka, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was released on July 31st. I grabbed one of her buddies and off we went to our local book store, Chaucer's. They had photo props, snacks for sale, and lots of different quiz type games.

The girls each chose a Harry Potter Chocolate Frog complete with trading card to snack on during the night.
