Richardson's Rock Ranch

When we initiated the move to Oregon, I googled all kinds of fun things to do to make our move exciting for the kids. The boys are into geology and collect rocks...a little research and we eneded up at Richardson's Rock Ranch. At the ranch you dig for Thundere Eggs:

                                             



You aren't allowed to crack open the rocks while digging, but Keller was lucky enough to find this one that had already been opened.



At the end you buy your eggs by the pound and can choose to have them cut open. We let each kiddo pick 2 to cut and are thinking about investing in a tile saw for the rest. Ha.
