Tillamook

Pretty much decided that if you come visit us you need to leave enough time for a drive out to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Also, the moment that we all realized that we are going to have to invest in warmer clothes for Portland. August on the coast and we all needed sweatshirts.

So fascinating, I love that they show you every step of the cheese making process. We LOVED watching the workers fix problems, cut the cheese (ha!), and package all the yummy goodness. Have you tried cheese curds yet? So good...and squeaky.

                                                

Had to have the ice cream. Crazy, the line was a little insane.
