NYC!

New York baby! J and I are back from our first vacation in years without the kiddos. So many photos and things to tell that I am daunted with where to start. Actually, it took me about 3 seconds to decide...food, food, food. Between the carbs and the grease, the new year is going to include lots of gym time for me.

Our first breakfast was yummy twists at Chelsea Market...fennel with raisins, chocoholic, black olive, and prosciutto with parma. Coffee completed the meal, it is so good that I am having a little flashback to that moment and missing the food.

Hmmm...more carb please. A bagel off a street cart was the perfect accompaniment to our walk to the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty.

Katz's Deli, where the infamous BIG-O scene from When Harry Met Sally was filmed. Not really my cup of tea due to the fact that what they are known for is their enormous pastrami sandwiches. Are you seeing a pattern yet. We ate lots of carb with a side of grease.

Best for last, I heart New York pie...or pizza to us Californians. So freaking good!
