Last Day of Camp

Last day of the NHM camp and I walk up to find Vera and her friends chilling in the water cooking up some mud pies. Oh, I wish I was the cool mom who I overheard say, "I love to see you all covered in mud and having fun." Nope, I was the one who said, "Darn, do you think I am going to be able to get the mud out of her 4th of July pants?" Ugh, wish I could be relaxed, but darn I hate tough laundry.

Of course, then I let Keller get in the water too. Because, you know what is better than one kid covered in mud and dirty...two kids covered in mud and dirty.

Photoshoot at the end! I can't say enough about how much Vera loved camp. Each day she came home excited to tell us what she had learned and what they had done. Definitely an experience we will be repeating next year.

Keller's mini-photo shoot:

Yes, this photo melts my heart. It almost makes up for the fact that he used hair gel to glue all of his wooden blocks together. Note to self, if you don't pull the child locked door closed tightly, the Keller Dude can bust in, climb on the counter, and grab everything and anything.
